Mac Os X 10.13 Download
Hello all; I've searched for a total of near ii hours to answer this with no luck. Perhaps someone here has an thought:
I take Mac Pro (Mid 2010). I don't normally edit much for my work but I picked up a pretty simple gig. I am more familiar with Final Cutting than Premier merely did not accept that installed on this box so I dl'd it and alas, I need to be at to the lowest degree on Loftier Sierra 10.13.6. Currently I am on x.12.vi. I can find HS 10.13.half dozen of class simply HS 10.xiii.0 is a ghost. Can't get from 10.12.half-dozen to 10.thirteen.6 without the magical unicorn 10.13.0. Suggestions? Secret spider web hideouts?
Conversely..I could expect for an earlier version of Final Cut merely haven't put fourth dimension to that all the same only at this stage, I'll do whatever comes quickest as time is becoming a factor.
I take an unsupported Nvidia board (TitanX) and so I can't leapfrog to Mojave every bit a solution either.
Thanks for whatsoever helpful suggestions.
Oh how squeamish.. Once I posted, MR was so kind equally to point out I am newbie. haha.. well, to the site, yes. Merely I've been in post biz on macs since the early on 90'southward.. that should protect me from any flames, right?
Cheers for the inquiry amaze, but aye.. as jbarley notes - I need the initial upgrade 10.13.0. Which is auspiciously blanked on the entirety of the interwebs. The German site was a crafty idea, merely it likewise redirects to a dead end, alas.
Perhaps someone has the downloaded installer sitting effectually on a disk somewhere they could upload to moi? Or, know how to go a hold of FCP uniform with 10.12.x? Or??
Thoughts?
Cheers for the research amaze, only yeah.. every bit jbarley notes - I need the initial upgrade 10.13.0. Which is auspiciously blanked on the entirety of the interwebs. The German site was a crafty idea, but information technology also redirects to a expressionless end, alas.
Perhaps someone has the downloaded installer sitting effectually on a deejay somewhere they could upload to moi? Or, know how to get a hold of FCP compatible with ten.12.x? Or??
Are you lot looking to practice the initial install to x.13.0 then update to 10.13.6 using High Sierra updaters or volition you stay on 10.thirteen.0?
The current version of FCP needs at least 10.13.6, so yes.. that update is all the same available and I take it dl'd. But accept to get to x.13.0 first.
I don't sympathise why you would go for ten.thirteen.0 rather than a bugfixed x.13.6?
ps. It is however the full installer you download from App Store.. Not just an update..
10.xiii.six requires 10.13.0 to exist installed first; no matter how many times I punch "install" with the full strength of my extended index finger with prejudice, because, Apple.
The electric current version of FCP needs at least ten.13.half-dozen, so yes.. that update is still available and I take information technology dl'd. Just accept to get to 10.13.0 first.
Hither is a link that will take you to the U.s.a. Apple App Store where y'all can download the full x.13.6 installer. You will not need to get from 10.13.0 to 10.13.6.

Edit: The full installer is an app that will exist downloaded from the App Store Information technology will be a "Install macOS High Sierra" app (around v.25 GB) in the Applications folder and it volition automatically launch after it is downloaded. If you practice not desire to install then Quit the installer app when information technology beginning launches. The installer app will automatically delete after it completes the install. Information technology might be a good thought to relieve the installer on another disk for after uses.

I'm not in front end of that arrangement at the moment...prolly in almost an hour I volition be- simply, in my foggy late night memory, I do believe I did end upwardly at that app store page to dl 10.13.6. When I ran the installer, it said I needed 10.xiii.0 to be installed showtime. I will confirm hither in a fleck as to whether my mind is playing tricks on me or not. Cheers.
[doublepost=1542736178][/doublepost]..and truly, cheers. At least I experience at that place's some winnowing downwards and a viable selection to work with here. I'll update soon.
Ok..obviously, someone slipped something hallucinatory in my potable...musta been me since I'm the only 1 hither.
Only yes, apparently I had dl'd the x.thirteen.6 updater and not the full install that chfr, DeltaMac and CoastalOR were linking me to. Dl'd that and at present running 10.13.6 & latestest/greatest FCP. The rift in the space-time continuum has mended and the existential disaster has been avoided due to your heroic intergalactic tenacity for justice and the Appian Way. All silliness aside, Thank you lot gents, for staying with it and helping me out.
Encounter yous at my next emergency..
You did read the Title, the function where the OP is looking for "Loftier Sierra 10.13.0" (nothing)
The links y'all supplied all lead to version 10.13.six
Focus on solution. Not the obstacle.
If your problem is happily no longer one, so to put a "RESOLVED" before the title of your thread volition make it clear to all the readers.

doesn't always work to download. When it fails, here'south why: If there'south a High Sierra or Mojave installer somewhere on your Mac, the App Store will find it and abolish the download. It tin can be anywhere — even an older version will cause the download to fail.
The solution: Observe that installer. If you still need it, zip (shrink) it. Rename the zipped file to something similar Install macOS Loftier Sierra 10.13.6.app.zilch or Install macOS Mojave 10.14.iv.app.zip. I e'er move the zippo file(s) out of my Applications folder to somewhere else but that is probably not necessary.
Trash any original, uncompressed installers on your Mac. At present the link works correctly and the download will piece of work as advertised.

I had the same problem trying to download the full installation version of x.13.6 (as opposed tt the Upgrade version which requires 10.13.0 to be installed first). Every download was cancelling out at nearly the xxx-xl% marking. I eventually got onto Apple tree Support and they sorted it out for me. Seems each unsuccessful download was leaving a small-scale file in Applications which blocked the next unsuccessful attempt. Got rid of all those files just still didn't work, and then there was yet something blocking the downloads that I couldn't find. And so Apple Support recommended downloading in Prophylactic Manner - which I did, and that worked. I'm now on 10.13.6 which is the terminal upgrade that I can do for the historic period of my iMac (2010).
